Woices and the teaching community

We are really happy and glad to see that the teaching and learning community has been very active at woices since its launch some months ago. Several education projects have been developed using the woices services and new ideas are popping up about its future uses in this environment.

Educa con TIC (a leading spanish ICT and Education site) has published an detailed article showing the potential woices uses in the context of education and reviews some succesful experiences.

Educ.ar (the national education portal from Argentina) has also just published another article speaking about woices.

Woices present at the 2009 World Innovation Summit

Woices will be at the 2009 World Innovation Summit that is taking place these days in Barcelona. Woices selected as one the three more promising TIC startups by ACC1Ó

ACC1Ó (formerly CIDEM and COPCA, the Catalan agencies for innovation and internationalization) has selected woices as one of the three more promising TIC startups for the 2009. Therefore, we've been asked to give a short presentation of the project at the XV Fòrum d'Inversió that takes place this week in the HIT (World Innovation Summit) at Barcelona. We are really glad to do so, thank you guys! Keep up with your good job.

Woices members run Tarragona half-marathon

One day ago, in 2008, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Tarragona underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as runners of fortune. Woices keeps growing! we are shaping new features and services according to our plan and your proposals and feedback. We do appreciate that. Woices main purpose is to become a useful service to the community and, as such, your comments, suggestions or experiences are of great value.
Today we've made a leap forward by activating woices forums. With this new common space, we intend to let users share their experiences, request echoes and help to improve woices with their feedback among other things.
